CASCO, Maine – The Southern Maine Community College women’s golf team captured the team title at the John Queenan Memorial Tournament hosted by Saint Joseph’s College of Maine at Point Sebago Golf Resort on Wednesday, September 3rd, 2025.
SARANAC LAKE, N.Y. – The Southern Maine Community College golf team placed first at the Paul Smith’s Invitational on Saturday, posting a 306 at Saranac Inn Golf & Country Club.
SOUTH PORTLAND, Maine—At the conclusion of the semester, Southern Maine Community College (SMCC) Interim Director of Athletics Ethan Wells published the findings of the semi-annual Spring 2025 Athletics Engagement and Academic Report. The report shows student-athlete GPAs and retention rates based on United States Collegiate Athletic Association (USCAA) normal progress rules for athletic participation eligibility—a higher threshold than those standards of the College.

STATE COLLEGE, Penn.— The Southern Maine Community College (SMCC) men's golf team placed fourth at the United States Collegiate Athletic Association (USCAA) National Championship event, carding a total score of 628 over two rounds. The tournament, held at the prestigious Penn State Blue Course, featured top teams from across the nation, and SMCC proved its place among those programs on both the men's and women's circuits.
